  1. Thanks for sharing! I spent some time on his blog today. He does an amazing job (at least to me but I am not an LA expert) on bring together ideas from a number of places and melds them into a well sequenced series of lessons.

I have been thinking about things like this a lot lately as there are a few groups - gates Foundation being one - who are developing (at least trying) platforms that would help bring resources, standards, student performance, currciulum together into one dashboard to help the teacher. How much time do you think it took him to find those resources and think about how to put them together. Looks like he has a pretty solid PLN...

I have also been thinking about the transformative use of technology. Could he have achieved the same products/understanding without the use of technology. How did technology enhance or provide opportunities that couldn't have been experienced without it?

Did you see his post on the Edutopia Design Thinking Course - I'm so going to see if they are offering it again! Thnking about how that would look in the middle school classroom. Have you tried it?

    1. He's got so many ideas that I don't have time to look at them all! Mostly, I check on his Twitter posts that link to more awesome sources. I will check out that course, though.

  2. This person is not in my PLN, but I will check him out even though I may not choose to follow him. I see you have shared a number of ways to follow him above. If I had never read your blog, I may not have run across him. How are you sharing his wonderful ideas with your colleagues?

    1. I have told everyone about him that I can after participating in his day-long workshop – he’s got some great lessons that are technically GT, but that can work as an extension. Plus, I have a handful of MMS people following my blog.
