BrainPOP has a new, updated format! I will be hosting a training soon.
PROS:
- easier login for teachers and students
- teachers can print spreadsheet of grades
- teachers can view all student attempts at quizzes
- students can view past quiz grades and submit the highest grade
CONS:
- cannot connect via iPad or other devices (yet!)
If you have a collection of classroom iPads, there are a couple of ways to make sure you can track them.
First, you will need an account. I advise against using your personal iTunes/Apple accounts for this.
The safest bet is to make an account with your SBISD email that has no credit card attached.
Next, make sure that iCloud is enabled. This will allow you to *ping* the device as soon as it's connected to the Internet.
How to connect your devices to iCloud
If a device goes missing, sign in to iCloud and track it.If the device is on and connected to the Internet, you'll see a map with its location. If not, it will *ping* and be tracked as soon as it is powered on and connects to the Internet.
There is also a feature on the "find my iPhone" program that allows you to lock your iPad remotely in case of theft.
